KCPR's Basketball League focuses on fun, skill-building, equal playtime, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Kids will have a blast learning the game from top-notch coaches. Practices kick off the week of November 11. We are currently seeking dedicated volunteer coaches!

The season starts with two weeks of practice beginning the week of January 5th, followed by games starting on January 19th. Teams meet once a week. We are currently seeking dedicated volunteer coaches!
All Kent County Parks and Recreation youth sport program volunteers and coaches are required to complete a Volunteer Employee Application Packet, as well as, consent to criminal records history searches. Background search guidelines are followed as recommended by the National Recreation and Parks Association.

For sport leagues and individuals who want to keep their skills sharp throughout the winter months, the batting cage is sure to attract many users. Helmets, balls, and pitching machine provided. Availability of batting cage will be limited due to high interest so don’t delay in securing your rental dates. A private rental of Gym B at the Community Center is required.
